This Privacy Policy applies to FUNAI TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. (“we”, “us”, “our”), and is formulated in full compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. It explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data obtained from users of our website, applications, and services.
1. Personal Data We Collect: We may collect the following personal data: name, email address, contact information, payment details (processed securely via third-party payment providers), account information, and usage data related to our digital content and services. We will not collect national identification numbers, passports, work permits or other similar identification documents unless required by law or necessary for identity verification, and will clearly explain the necessity of such collection to users if required. In line with Singapore's latest data protection regulations, we will completely stop using national identification numbers for identity verification by December 31, 2026 to prevent personal information leakage risks.
2. Purpose of Data Collection: Collected data is used for service provision, account management, payment processing, customer support, service optimization, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not use personal data for unauthorized marketing purposes without explicit user consent.
3. User Rights Under PDPA: Users have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data; withdraw consent for data processing; and lodge complaints regarding data handling. To exercise these rights, contact our DPO at dpo@funaitech.sg.
4. Data Security & Retention: We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, loss or damage, in line with the "enterprise accountability, government supervision, public remedy" collaborative path required by Singapore's data protection regulations. Data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the stated purposes or as required by law. We will conduct regular security reviews and random inspections to ensure the effectiveness of data protection measures.
5. Governing Law: This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore.
